Sunyujae’s special acupuncture treatment, acupotomy! I am also actively engaged in research at the Korean Society of Acupotomy Medicine. Seeing patients who come to Sunyujae after receiving treatment at other hospitals, or those who seek out Sunyujae as a clinic that can provide treatment, further fuels my passion for treatment!

I would like to introduce my research activities, which are full of passion for Korean medicine. This study is a paper titled ‘A Systematic Review on the Depth of Major Acupoints (Gansu, Bisu, Samchosu),’ which was written while guiding students from my alma mater, Dongguk University, and published in an SCI(E) journal.

When Korean medicine doctors treat patients in clinical practice While acupoints are used, I continue to research the therapeutic effects of acupoints through anatomical and physiological analysis. This study presented the most efficient needling depth and angle for each acupoint and explored and presented the therapeutic mechanisms of these acupoints. I plan to continue conducting research to create objective and scientific evidence for Korean medicine treatments, and through studies that establish the fundamental basis for clinical treatments, I intend to promote the therapeutic efficacy and excellence of Korean medicine.
