Hello, this is Sunyujae Korean Medicine Clinic, a place where kind hearts dwell.

The study titled ‘Korean Medicine Treatment Response Including Acupotomy in Patients with Cognitive Impairment in Primary Care: A Multicenter Registry Study Protocol’ was published in the international journal ‘World Journal of Clinical Cases’. This study is a joint research project by the Wonkwang University research team and the Korean Society of Acupotomy Medicine, with Dr. Hyocheong Chae of our clinic being responsible for research planning and execution.
Approximately 10 patients from our clinic are also participating in the clinical study, and are currently undergoing acupotomy treatment once a week, with improvement evaluations conducted through examinations every three months. The majority of patients who have participated so far have shown improvement in their evaluation results, leading to expectations of very positive research outcomes. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupotomy for patients experiencing mild cognitive impairment or subjective cognitive decline.
It is a multicenter, prospective observational study. The main objective of the study is to collect and analyze real-world data on the effects of acupotomy treatment on cognitive function improvement in a primary care setting. To this end, participants were recruited from various medical institutions, and cognitive function questionnaires and treatment processes will be systematically recorded for one year.
This study will be important for demonstrating the efficacy and safety of acupotomy. 👉 Please refer to the images below, which contain content from Monthly Sunyujae.
