Hello. This is Dr. Hyocheong Chae, director of Sunyujae Korean Medicine Clinic in Dongcheon-dong, a place where kind hearts reside.

Based on my passion for Korean medicine, I have been engaged in research and treatment activities for a long time. Musculoskeletal disorders are one of the problems many people experience in their daily lives. With deep interest in musculoskeletal disorders, I have even obtained the RMSK (Registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography) qualification, which is an important certification that allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment using musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Through my research activities, I am further expanding the possibilities of Korean medicine and providing definite and proactive treatment by integrating modern diagnostic techniques with traditional Korean medicine treatments. I have obtained the RMSK (Registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography) qualification! The American medical sonographer certification I hold is a globally recognized ultrasound diagnostic qualification. It requires completing a certain period of training to be eligible for the exam, and the qualification is granted only after passing the exam. Therefore, unlike qualifications obtained simply by completing lectures, its acquisition difficulty is quite high. A comprehensive understanding of ultrasound diagnosis and clinical experience are important, and qualified individuals are recognized as experts in ultrasound diagnosis.

In particular, RMSK (Registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography) is a qualification that covers not only the diagnosis of musculoskeletal structures through ultrasound but also interventional procedures, and it is recognized as an expert in musculoskeletal ultrasound not only in Korea but also among doctors in other countries.

Having completed the curricula of Korean medicine and medical schools Even if one is recognized as having anatomical, physiological, and pathological knowledge, there is currently no domestic license that allows the use of ultrasound for these purposes. Therefore, obtaining this qualification means possessing the competence and qualification to perform acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, and acupotomy using ultrasound.
